Paid Search Specialist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day paid search campaigns, including keyword generation, ad copy writing and testing, bid management, landing page recommendations, budget management and reporting
  • Monitor both daily spend and monthly budget checks
    • Analyze campaign performance daily to ensure monthly objectives are met
    • Implement and verify appropriate conversion and web analytics tracking to ensure accurate performance measurement
    • Provide weekly reports to Digital Strategist on campaign performance
    • Create and ensure accurate reporting to account/client specifications and KPI’s

Education, Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related field

Required Skills:

  • Must have strong business writing and communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational and quantitative/analytical skills
  • Interest and understanding of all aspects of digital media
  • Must have extremely strong attention to detail
    • Accuracy, Clarity, Proactiveness and Timeliness
  • Great attitude, desire to learn and ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Research aptitude: SEM marketers need to know how to conduct research to identify trends, top ranking keywords, and provide evidence-based recommendations for developing and testing campaigns.
  • Data analysis and excel skills: experts need to know how to make sense of data, reports, and be able to see what needs tweaking for optimal results. Typically involves importing results into a spreadsheet and digging into the data to uncover patterns and analyze spend.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PPT
